This Privacy Policy explains how Valerix Estate Management ("Valerix", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about our clients, their household members, and their properties in connection with our estate management, concierge, and marine detailing services and our client portal at myvalerix.com.

Information We Collect

We collect contact details (name, email, phone), property information you provide (address, square footage, primary contact, insured value, vessel details), payment method details processed by our payment processor, and operational data generated when we service your estate (inspection notes, photos, service request history). We also automatically collect limited technical data when you use the portal — IP address, browser and device type, and log data — for security and to keep the service running.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to manage your estate, dispatch vetted contractors to your property, send storm and severe-weather notifications tied to your address, coordinate scheduled visits, process billing, and respond to support requests.

Cookies, Local Storage & Analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your layout and this consent choice. These are necessary for the portal to function. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Optional analytics run only if you accept them in our cookie banner; you can decline, or withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's browser storage. We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers & Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers that support our business operations, and only the minimum necessary for them to perform services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations: cloud hosting, database and file storage; payment processing; scheduling and secure backup with our calendar and workspace provider; email delivery; weather data based on your property's location; and AI services that help us triage support requests and generate operational insights (this data is handled under commercial terms and is not used to train public AI models). To carry out work you request, we also share limited details (e.g., property address, gate codes, scope of work) with the vetted contractors who perform it. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us, and not for their own purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This includes your mobile phone number and any text-messaging (SMS) opt-in or consent data. We do not sell client information, and we do not share personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from Valerix Estate Management, we will send messages related to your account and our services: service updates, storm notifications, billing alerts, and account notices. Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, and consent data are used only to send you the messages you have agreed to receive. Consumer SMS registration data is not transferred, shared, or disclosed to any external organization under any circumstances, even with your consent, except where strictly required by law.

To opt out: you can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from us unless you opt in again.

Data Retention & Security

Records are retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period thereafter for tax, audit, and legal purposes. Access to client data is role-restricted and protected by authentication, encrypted transport, and database row-level security.

Your Privacy Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or opt out of optional analytics, by emailing info@myvalerix.com. Depending on where you live (including California residents under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to know what we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — which we do not do. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Our services and portal are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you through the portal or by email.
